Camp Rental Policy
TRI-COUNTY BAPTIST ASSOCIATION
CAMP RENTAL POLICIES

The purpose of the camp is to promote Christian Fellowship, Education, Music, Missions, Evangelism and Bible Study.

All activities conducted at the camp shall be consistent with Christian principles and teachings. All use of alcoholic beverages, illegal narcotics, obscene speech and immoral conduct are specifically forbidden.

The 51 churches of the Tri-County Baptist Association will have until January 31st each year to make reservations of any facility. After January 31st the remaining camp dates may be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The week camps do take priority over single reservations.

All groups agree to fill out the pink “Reservation Request” Form and mail back to the office to confirm your reservation of the camp.

All groups agree to meet with caretaker immediately upon arrival to go over camp policies and fill out all forms necessary for camp rental.

All groups using the camp must agree to exercise reasonable care of the facilities and to be responsible for replacing any damage caused by their group.

All groups using the camp must agree to leave the camp clean and ready for use by the following group.

All groups must agree to use only the facilities that they reserved.
All groups must agree to furnish their own supplies. The camp will furnish toilet tissue.

Bonfires are permitted in designated area only and are to be extinguished before leaving that area of the camp. All groups are to check with caretaker about the designated area and when they will be having the bonfire. Firewood on hand may be used, but the camp does not agree to keep a supply on hand.

A day of camp use shall be considered a 24 hour period, including overnight or any lesser period thereof.
Example:
Arrive at 3:00 p.m. on Friday
Leave at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday
Will be a one day camp rental.
Arrive at 3:00 p.m. on Friday
Leave at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday
Will still be a one day camp rental.

Pool Rental will be based on daily rental. When you reserve a date for the pool then no other group will be allowed to reserve on the same day. Pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. till dark. Cost of the pool rental will be the same for 1 hour or 10 hours.

All groups using the camp must agree to exercise reasonable discipline over those in attendance. A list of rules and regulations are attached.

Arrangements must be made with the Associational Office for repair of damage to the camp. All accidents are to be reported to caretaker immediately.

All groups agree to meet with caretaker just prior to departure to discuss any accidents, complaints or damages that occurred during their stay on the camp ground and to sign the check out form. This form is very important for our camp audit and what fees that you will be charged for.

There are two separate price guides:
The first price guide is for the 51 churches that are in the Tri-County Baptist Association. These prices are good for any activity that your church rents the camp for. Such as Youth Retreat, Marriage Retreat, Sunday School Class Party, Church Fellowship, etc.

Each church is allowed two weekend dates, such as, first Saturday in June and third Sunday in August. This will eliminate one church from having several dates and another church from not having any. There will be no “Pool Rental” charge to the churches of the Tri-County Baptist Association that give to the Camp on a monthly basis.

The second price guide is for all other churches and groups outside of the Tri-County Baptist Association. This will also include family reunions, kid’s birthday parties, ball parties, etc. Any activity that is not church related or that your church is not responsible for.
